Student Mentoring

Don’t suffer alone.

Are you a migrant and struggling with studying in a foreign country?

Do you feel alone and have no-one you can really talk to?

Are your problems making it hard for you to focus on your goals in your education and/or work?

The Student Mentoring program provides support with studies, employment, or starting a new life in a foreign country where English is a problem. As part of your tutoring, you can also apply for Student Mentoring to help you learn study skills, how to navigate the complexities of university life or learn how to improve your work life in Australia. You can also learn how to develop a social network of friends, how to deal with homesickness or being far away from the people you love. There is also general mental health support for those who are lonely, depressed and just need someone to talk to about what is stopping them from studying in the first place.

You will be talking to a professional who has had experience counselling students and is qualified with a mental health certification.

The mentoring can take place during your tutoring time or separately as a different session.
